Happy April, everybody! I’ve got a little gift for you on this fine moon-day.
Below you’ll find some affirmations for magickal money makers + and why I think they’re important.
These are affirmations that I use for myself; and constantly repeat in moments of victory and moments that are not so victorious.
I’ve made some free wallpapers with these affirmations for anyone who wants these easy intention setting graphics. They can be used as wallpapers, icons, or widget graphics.
*I like setting the collection as a gallery on my phone. I link it to my “work” focus mode so they cycle through during my work day. Then my non-work hours wallpaper goes back after I finish my day!

Good bosses listen to their employees always.
You are your employee, and you have to teach yourself how to listen to your needs as the person doing the business- not just the one running it. The trick to being a great CEO is listening to what your employees need: entrepreneurs just happen to be both. Spiritual Caregivers especially need to listen when their gut tells them about a good opportunity; or their brains say they need rest. Trust yourself and your intuition.
I’m a person, not a product.
You are more than what you offer people, or services you provide. You’re not just a psychic, healer, teacher, doula, astrologer. You have a family, or pets, needs, another job maybe! You also have a body that needs food, rest, movement, joy. Remember that next time you put off eating for emails; or prioritize content over connection with yourself, your life, and those you love.
I am everything I need to be.
You’re as prepared, educated, old, young, spooky, normal, professional as you need to be. We often don’t think we’re enough to hold space for others; carry on our ancestor’s legacies of serving others; “legit” enough to live off our passions. This is not true! Especially when you get to make your own rules and standards. If we wait around to be “enough” by the standards of others (or our overly critical selves), we’d never get anything done.
Marquee Affirmations
Abundance is a mindset, not a moment.
Even when our monetary abundance is momentarily lacking; our abundant energy is not. True abundance considers the long term ebbs and flows of the material continuum. Sometimes abundance flows in money, others in the form of opportunity, community support, different points of view, skills you may not think are related to your business. When we remember that abundance is more than cash, we start being open to new possibilities to make cash more sustainably.
Not to brag, but the money gods love my work.
The Money Gods love our work, when we love our work! Many deities of abundance look on entrepreneurial acts/processes as offerings. Creating a product/offering from the heart; doing your work because you love it (not because you want to be rich); holding up your end of business contracts, deals or collabs are all ways to gain favor from gods of gratuity.
My Ancestors told me to charge my worth.
Many of us have ancestors that had to use their gifts and passions to survive. They didn’t get the choice of their career, let alone how much to charge for it. Luckily, we are in an industry and era of commerce that allows us to honor our time with more equal energy exchanges. This means charging our worth via our prices; the time we take for ourselves; what we choose to keep sacred and what we choose to share.
Affirmation Receipts
Abundance is all around me.
We can gain inspiration from anywhere if we just look for it-or at least be open to it dropping into our laps. We can’t just acknowledge that abundance is a long term mindset. We also have to believe that we have the ability to participate in it. Abundance and chances to cultivate it are everywhere, at any time. Each specific person just has to know what it looks like, and how to grab it in a way that works for them.
I do more when I work less.
Anyone with a typical 9-5 job will admit that everything that needs to be done in a day, can be done in about 3-4 hours instead of wasting 8-9 hours puttering around. When we work for ourselves, we can often push ourselves into working too long or hard. Or we end up overcomplicating or overthinking projects to fit a standard of other industries versions of “professionalism”. The result can often lead to burn out or even a lack of confidence in our work. The truth is, when we do go about our work in simple ways that mesh with us (and our brains), we are more efficient. We get more done when we focus as long as we need to; call it, when we can’t anymore; and walk away until it’s sustainably right to start again.
If I don’t like it, then I don’t do it.
Why own your own business if you’re going to do work that you don’t like? When you’re your own boss, you don’t have to do or assign yourself work that you don’t care about. It’s actually not fair to you or your clients/customers/audience. We waste our inner fire-and skip the ability to be fulfilled by our work-when we keep on with things that don’t give back to us as much as we give to them. Don’t like talking about a certain topic anymore? Stop offering information about it. Tired of a certain type of customer? Find what’s attracting that type of person, and get rid of it! You’re in charge, so make it fun for yourself.
